This course is designed for professionals who would like to update and extend theirunderstanding of ADHD and how this understanding may inform their formal assessment. The course will include a mixture of lectures, discussion and practical activities. It will not qualify the candidates to assess for ADHD but participants will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in the following areas:
• Demystifying ADHD
• Executive Function and ADHD
• Assessment and Diagnosis
• Overlap with ASD,ODD, CD and SpLD
• Girls and Boys and ADHD
• Introduction of the Multi‐Model Management Model
• Consideration of the role of Medication in learning and behaviour
• Effective communication with parents of children with ADHD
The cost is £120 for Earlybird booking (over a month before the event) or £150 if booked less than a month before the event.
